NEW CHARACTER MODEL :
Crusader model have been updated:
Various kind of clothes are separated objects for a better effect. 80 bones are used to simulate the skirt cloth movement and 42 to simulate the cloak cloth.
Hierarchy model has been updated:
Each finger is now separated. More than 80 bones are used for a character.

KYLOTONN visits Carcassonne :

Last week-end, Crusaders's dev team goes to Carcassonne to visit a real medieval city. Lots of photos of the walls, towers, doors, gates, and arcads have been taken in the aim of realisation of texture and to study the architecture of the castle.

The Racecourse reconstituted:
The level taking place in the racecourse of Constantinople is now ready to be exploited.
This level required several working and research months to be most faithfully reproduced possible.
The challenge was of size so much there is nothing left today, not even ruins. Everything was thus made according to plans, to sketch and to research works.

CRUSADERS changes its AI Engine :


We will work from now on with the Middleware Spirops.
Tries of Pathfind were realized in a level of BoS in order to make some tests of management of crowd.
The results are really encouraging and we can show many more characters in builds to come.

CRUSADERS revealed to Games Convention:

Specialist of the action game, Kylotonn puts all of its knowledge to make a new Action / adventure game on PC and Next-Gen.
Recognized for its rich and original universes, Kylotonn revisits the 4th crusade today.
The 12th century touches its end, the pope Innocent III preaches a new crusade to conquer the holy city, abandoned to the armies of the sultan Salomon some years previously. While the high European barons mobilize their troops for this new epic, the meeting with prince Alexis, descendant of the throne of the Byzantine Empire, is going to make fall over the history: this crusade will go never far than Constantinople …
Fight against Byzantine Empire troopers, in the heart of Crusaders army.
Choose your equipment among more than 150 weapons of various categories (blades, axes, flails, crossbows...)
Learn new combos by engaging in a Crusaders Faction such as the well-known Templars.
Get new skills and make your character evolve through a deep apprenticeship besides fencing instructors.
Provide your character with new armors and equipments.
Recruit and lead a squadron of up to 4 mercenaries, give them orders and get their help to accomplish your mission.
Cross about 20 distinct environments through 12th Century Europe, and get involved in the conquest of the richest city in the world : Constantinople. Fight in the heart of its most famous monuments in 3D, from Hagia Sophia to the Theodosian Walls.
Yann Tambellini, creative director of Kylotonn, details the origin of the game and the idea of his creation: " As independent studio, we attempt to bring a revival in universes treated in the video games of adventure. Fascinated by architecture, I discovered in this city of Constantinople a delicious mixes of East and West, which will transport the player beyond Donjons and other malefic forests of the traditional RPG."
